Job Description:
The Assistant Professor of Pharmacology will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, delivering lectures, leading tutorials, and conducting practical sessions in pharmacology. The role includes supervising student projects, participating in curriculum development, and evaluating student performance through examinations and continuous assessment. The faculty member will engage in independent and collaborative research, contribute to publications, and support institutional academic activities, including seminars and conferences. Responsibilities include supporting the TDM services of the department and participation in relevant clinical and interdisciplinary meetings, academic administration, and mentoring learners.
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Faculty Job:
- MD Pharmacology from a recognized institution. (ONLY MD Pharmacology: Post Graduates can apply)
- Completed at least 1 year of Senior Residency in a recognized institution
- Demonstrated competence in teaching pharmacology, including lecture delivery, practical training, and student assessment.
- Experience or strong interest in pharmacology research, including TDM.
- Ability to collaborate with clinical departments in a tertiary care hospital setting and contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to mentor and guide students.
- Commitment to ethical medical education, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development.
