Essential Qualification for the Medical Faculty Jobs:

  • MD/DNB in Community Medicine/Field Epidemiology or Public Health or allied disciplines
  • Ph.D. in Public Health/Health Management/Hospital Administration/Information Technology/Nutrition/Health Economics/Pharmaceuticals/Biomedical Engineering and allied disciplines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of interdisciplinary research approaches and technologies
  • Full-time UG & PG degree with a minimum of 60% marks

Desirable:

  • Assistant Professor: 3-5 years of work and/or research experience in the health sector/hospital with at least 2 publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Associate Professor: 5-7 years of work and/or research experience in the health sector/hospital with at least 5 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals
  • Professor: 8-10 years of work and/or research experience in the health sector/hospital with at least 10 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals

Job Description:

As a faculty member, the selected candidates will be involved in teaching, guiding, and mentoring students. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design of pedagogy, developing course materials, teaching, and evaluating students
  • Preparing for internal reviews and external accreditations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Overseeing admissions, orientation, mentoring, counseling, placement, and grievance redressal systems
  • Facilitating student development through co-curricular and extracurricular activities
  • Conducting research in health systems management and writing proposals for grants
  • Offering training programs related to public health and management
  • Participating in institutional development and faculty development programs
