About the Role:
The Medical Science Liaison will collaborate with healthcare professionals, develop peer-to-peer relationships, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company’s medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a network of peer-to-peer scientific relationships and develop partnerships with healthcare professionals.
- Provide and discuss scientific information to inform the company’s research and strategic direction.
- Develop and execute engagement plans with medical experts.
- Liaise with external groups to ensure understanding of Novartis products.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset and work within a cross-functional team.
- Interface and provide value across internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- MD, PharmD, PhD or related life sciences degree.
- Scientific expertise in Nephrology.
- Proven ability to develop peer-to-peer relationships.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific information.
- Familiarity with reimbursement processes in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license for field-based position with travel required.
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous experience as an MSL.
