Job Description:
Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving medical reasoning, clinical knowledge application, and health-related analysis in advanced language models. They are seeking experienced Health and Medicine professionals to contribute by creating and evaluating health- and medicine-related prompts and responses. This is a multilingual medicine job designed for professionals actively practicing within healthcare systems. Candidates must have real-world professional experience practicing or working within healthcare systems in their language and cultural context. Familiarity with local clinical guidelines, medical terminology, regulatory standards, and patient communication norms is essential.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Medicine or a closely related healthcare field
- 2+ years of professional work experience in clinical practice, healthcare delivery, medical research, or a related medical setting
- Active professional familiarity with healthcare systems and clinical practice in at least one of the listed languages
- Strong understanding of local clinical guidelines, standards of care, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills in the target language
- Ability to exercise careful, safety-conscious editorial judgment
Key Responsibilities:
- Author realistic health and medicine prompts spanning clinical reasoning, diagnosis differentials, treatment planning, pharmacology, public health, and patient education
- Review and revise AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, and adherence to professional standards
- Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex or ambiguous medical scenarios
- Create controlled prompt variations testing differences in patient demographics, comorbidities, care settings, or regional guidelines
- Evaluate outputs across different tones (clinical, educational, advisory) and instruction constraints
- Identify model failure cases involving unsafe recommendations, incorrect dosing logic, flawed clinical reasoning, or culturally inappropriate patient guidance
