Job Description:
The Executive Director will lead the strategic and operational functions of NBEMS, ensuring the highest standards in medical examinations and education. This role requires innovative leadership to drive academic excellence and administrative efficiency. The Executive Director will represent NBEMS in various capacities, fostering relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders to promote the organisation’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations and strategic direction of NBEMS.
- Ensure the highest standards in medical examinations and education.
- Lead the development of innovative evaluation techniques.
- Manage academic and administrative functions effectively.
- Represent NBEMS in various capacities and foster relationships with stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications for this Executive Director Job:
- Postgraduate Degree in Medicine or Surgery or Public Health and/or any of their branches.
- Twenty years’ standing in the profession, demonstrating a deep understanding of the medical field.
- Minimum 10 years’ teaching experience at postgraduate level in a faculty position after postgraduation.
- Experience of 5 years as Professor & Head / Professor / Director / Dean of a Medical College or equivalent, showcasing leadership and academic expertise.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Medical Education Technology, with a focus on modern teaching methods and tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern evaluation techniques, including the creation of MCQs and MEQs, and the ability to analyse candidates’ performance effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with external partners.
