Job Description
This optometry job under Johnson & Johnson careers is a strong medtech job opportunity in Vision Care. The Customer Development Manager for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care India (ACUVUE Contact Lenses) will be responsible for managing Independent Outlets and Eye Hospitals / Ophthalmic Clinics (Institutions) within a defined geography.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- A degree in Optometry is an added advantage for candidates seeking an optometry job
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven track record in consumable sales in the healthcare industry
- Exposure to CRM / Relationship marketing will be an added advantage
- Experience in the optical industry, Retail, and FMCG is desired
- Experience in the optical industry will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to shape and grow ACUVUE business in the territory
- Serve as the single point of contact for IOs and Institutes
- Drive the growth of ACUVUE sales in the territory
- Ensure timely communication of BPAs, trade schemes, offers and work with accounts
- Ensure optimal coverage of territory (all stores once a month and key stores twice a month at least)
- Identify new IOs equipped with fitting contact lenses
- Execute programs such as trial generation activations in key IOs
- Drive the adoption and implementation of marketing strategies
- Work with the marketing team and distributors to ensure the availability of trial lenses and visual merchandising
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure smooth service to retailers
- Develop territory to drive penetration of contact lenses
- Build and maintain relations with retailers, optics, and stakeholders at the Institutes
- Conduct regular product messaging and refreshers with ECPs
- Collaborate with the PD team to drive training programs
- Manage outsourced team to drive coverage in certain territories (if applicable)
- Adhere to J&J compliance and policies
