PATH Careers- Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Excel, Power BI, R, Stata, or Python is an advantage.
  • Ability to conduct literature reviews and synthesize information clearly.

Job Description:

PATH invites applications for a CDC HIV Project intern job under Project Sashakt. Interns will support research, data management, and manuscript development to strengthen HIV prevention, testing, and treatment programs. This opportunity is a great step in advancing PATH careers in public health.

Key Responsibilities at PATH Careers:

  • Lead development of a scientific manuscript on priority topics.
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize national and global evidence.
  • Support data extraction, cleaning, and initial analysis from project datasets.
  • Draft manuscript sections (introduction, methods, results, discussion, references) under guidance from PATH technical experts.
  • Assist submission processes for internal CDC and PATH reviews.
  • Review HIV service delivery data from facilities and community settings.
  • Support dashboard/visualization design for HIV screening and linkage data.
  • Contribute to technical briefs, case studies, and best-practice documentation.
  • Draft meeting notes, presentations, and progress reports.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of trainings, consultations, and field visits.
  • Conduct desk research on HIV testing algorithms, differentiated service delivery, and innovations in case finding.
