These positions are offered under the ICMR-funded Centre for Advanced Research: Kawasaki Disease – From Discovery to Delivery: Safeguarding Indian Children from Acquired Heart Disease (CARe-KD Initiative) led by the Department of Pediatrics. The project focuses on advancing research, diagnostics, and clinical management of Kawasaki Disease in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in clinical and translational research activities related to Kawasaki Disease.
  • Support molecular biology, genetics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) research.
  • Assist in clinical research, multicenter project coordination, and scientific data collection.
  • Perform bioinformatics and research data analysis where applicable.
  • Coordinate research documentation and study-related activities.
  • Assist in scientific writing, data interpretation, and project reporting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ICMR guidelines and project protocols.

Educational Requirements

Project Research Scientist I (Medical)

  • MBBS/BVSc/BDS or equivalent qualification.

Project Research Scientist II (Medical)

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

  • MBBS/BVSc/BDS with three years of post-qualification experience.
  • MBBS/BVSc/BDS with a postgraduate degree (MD/MVSc/MDS/MPH or equivalent).
  • MBBS/BVSc/BDS with a PhD.
