The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India’s apex body for biomedical research, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Research Scientist-III (Medical) to join us on a temporary contract basis for our impactful short-term research projects under the DIGI-Care Multi-Centre Study. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to national priority health projects.
Job Description:
Essential Qualifications:
- Name of the Position: Project Research Scientist -III (Medical)
- Number of Vacancy: One
- Qualifications: MBBS/BVSc/BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent) or MPH/PhD
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-PG degree experience in relevant research areas or related community health experience.
Job Requirements:
As a Project Research Scientist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Actively assisting in the execution and completion of scientific research work related to the DIGI-Care Multi-Centre Study.
- Contributing to projects addressing critical national health priorities.
- Undertake other research-related activities as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Compensation:
- Consolidated Salary: ₹ 93,000/- per month plus applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per ICMR rules.
Other Details:
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as of the application deadline.
- Tenure: Initially for 1 year, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
- Place of Work: ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi.
