Project Scientist -I (Medical) – BIRAC TB Cachexia Project
Brief Description of the Project
A three-arm randomized controlled trial to assess the effectiveness of Omega 3 supplements and Ibuprofen in improving muscle protein fractional synthesis rate among patients with pulmonary TB on anti-tubercular treatment and food supplements against the standard of care in South India. The study will focus on anti-inflammatory strategies to overcome cachexia among patients with TB.

- Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
- Salary: Rs. 85090/- (Rs 67,000+27%HRA)
