Job Description:

This Research Associate Job invites applications for one (01) position of Research Associate III under the project titled “Technical Resource Centre under the Centre for Evidence for Guidelines”, funded by the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Candidates interested in Medical Jobs in India and academic research careers will have the opportunity to contribute to systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and evidence synthesis activities that support healthcare guideline development and policy formulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
  • Support evidence synthesis activities for healthcare guidelines.
  • Participate in protocol development and research planning.
  • Contribute to scientific manuscript preparation and publication.
  • Apply GRADE methodologies and Evidence to Decision frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Investigators and research teams.
  • Maintain high standards of scientific accuracy and documentation.
  • Participate in discussions, interviews, and project meetings.
  • Contribute to national health research initiatives funded by DHR.

Educational Requirements for this Research Associate Job:

  • MD from an NMC-recognized medical college, or
  • MS from an NMC-recognized institution, or
  • MPH qualification, or
  • MDS from an NDC-recognized dental college.

Additionally, candidates must have:

  • Experience in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
  • Certified training in systematic review methodology.
  • At least two published systematic reviews as the first or corresponding author in MEDLINE-indexed journals.

Skills Required for this Research Associate Job:

  • Strong manuscript writing skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Certified training in systematic review protocol development.
  • Experience with meta-analysis software.
  • Knowledge of the GRADE approach.
  • Familiarity with GRADE Evidence to Decision (EtD) frameworks.
  • Experience in evidence-based healthcare research.

Fellowship & Duration:

  • Salary: ₹67,000 per month.
  • HRA: ₹20,100 per month.
  • Initial Appointment: 3 months.
  • Extension: Up to 1 year based on satisfactory performance and availability of DHR funding.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum age: 35 years as on the last date of application.
  • Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
