The Position
Clinical Research Fellowship – 2-Year Temporary Position
Pharma Early Development is an exciting field in biomedical research that is central to delivering innovative medicines to patients. This position will give you the opportunity to experience cutting-edge drug development and to gain experience in drug development from a Medical Director perspective, in either Neuroscience or Ophthalmology.
The Opportunity
What you will do:
- Participate in core responsibilities of clinical science and understand the role of different functions within Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED)
- Observe and support ongoing projects within the therapeutic area of the Ophthalmology department
- Contribute to key steps of drug development including strategic planning, preparation of Study material, and internal and external meetings
- Collaborate with different functions such as Research, Clinical Scientists, Patient Partnership, and Regulatory teams
- Interaction with senior leadership and patient associations
Who You Are
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine (M.D.) or MD/PhD with deep expertise in either Ophthalmology or Neuroscience
- 1-2 years of clinical practice experience
- Previous industry experience within biomedical research in a large international matrix organization is strongly desired
- Experience in pharmaceutical or drug development is strongly desired
