Qualifications:
Essential:
- MBBS with three years’ post-qualification experience
OR - MBBS + Post Graduate Degree (MD Pathology) or any equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees
OR - MBBS with PhD
Desirable:
- Experience in Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH)
- Experience in cytogenetics
Job Description:
Applications are invited for the scientist job of Project Research Scientist-II (Medical) for an ICMR-funded project 65AURA-M (Automated Unified Risk Assessment in Myeloma) – a machine learning-augmented risk stratification system for multiple myeloma, in the Department of Hematology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to an ICMR-funded medical research project in hematology
- Support clinical and laboratory-based activities related to multiple myeloma
- Assist in machine learning–based risk stratification studies
- Handle research data, analysis, and reporting
- Coordinate with investigators and laboratory teams, including work related to cytogenetics
