Job Description:
Dwarka-Max Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a Senior Resident in Paediatrics to provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The position combines clinical responsibilities with academic activities, teaching, documentation, quality improvement, and research. The selected doctor will participate in the diagnosis and management of paediatric patients across relevant hospital settings while working alongside other healthcare professionals.
With 0–3 years of experience accepted and fresh postgraduates eligible, the opening is particularly relevant to recently qualified MD/DNB Paediatrics doctors beginning the next stage of their clinical careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage pediatric patients (OPD, IPD, NICU/PICU if applicable)
- Handle pediatric emergencies and critical care cases
- Conduct ward rounds and ensure proper patient documentation
- Assist/perform procedures like lumbar puncture, intubation, IV access, etc.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Counsel parents/guardians regarding diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis
- Ensure ethical and compassionate patient care
- Maintain confidentiality and medical records
- Teach and supervise interns, junior residents, and nursing staff
- Participate in seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and CMEs
- Stay updated with latest developments in pediatrics
- Maintain medical records and discharge summaries
- Assist in departmental audits and quality improvement initiatives

Educational Requirements for this Senior Resident Job:
