The Department of Thoracic Surgery specializes in the management of complex thoracic malignancies. It provides advanced care for cancers involving the lungs, mediastinum, chest wall, esophagus, and airway. The department integrates clinical expertise with multidisciplinary collaboration, ensuring high-quality and personalized oncologic care.
About the Fellowship Role
The Fellow—Thoracic Surgery will receive intensive training in thoracic oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Working alongside experienced surgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists, Fellows will gain comprehensive clinical and operative experience. The role emphasizes collaborative cancer management, patient-centered care, and exposure to advanced surgical technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications:
- MS or DNB in General Surgery OR
- MCh/DNB in Thoracic Surgery OR
- MCh in Surgical Oncology
Desirable Experience:
- More than 1 year of post-master’s experience, preferably in an oncology unit.
