The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), headquartered at Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029, is India’s apex body for the formulation, coordination, and promotion of biomedical research. Qualifications:

Essential: Postgraduates in Public Health with at least 55% marks and one year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Desirable:

  • Strong scientific writing skills for manuscript and study report preparation
  • Prior experience in systematic review and meta-analysis
  • Experience in advanced statistical modelling using R and STATA
  • Prior experience in analyzing large-scale survey data, such as NFHS, NSSO, IHDS, and Census
  • Experience in constructing data files based on multiple data sources
  • At least one or two publications in SCI-indexed journals as first or corresponding author

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle large-scale datasets, including data cleaning, validation, and transformation
  • Conduct descriptive, inferential, and predictive statistical analyses for research and policy needs
  • Design and implement data processing workflows, statistical tools, and automated scripts
  • Develop dashboards, data visualizations, technical reports, and policy briefs
  • Collaborate with research and policy teams for publications and evaluations
  • Prepare data documentation, such as data dictionaries and metadata
  • Support presentations and summaries for stakeholder meetings
  • Perform any other work assigned
