Qualifications & Skills:
- Â Doctorate degree (MD, DO, or similar)
- Nurse Practitioners with relevant experience will be considered
- 3+ years of success as a Medical Science Liaison preferred
- Neurology, Neuromuscular, or Rare Disease experience strongly preferred
- Ability to clearly explain complex scientific concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based Medical/Scientific expert who serves as a key scientific partner to healthcare providers, organizations, and internal UCB colleagues. This medical job focuses on executing medical strategies to enhance care and positively impact patients living with chronic neurologic and rare diseases, making it a strong option among medical science liaison roles in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains deep scientific knowledge in Neurology and Rare Disease areas relevant to this medical job
- Builds and sustains collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, researchers, and specialists
- Engages decision-makers across medical groups, IDNs, and regional payers
- Supports research expansion projects and educational partnerships
