Health professionals working in this program will play a key role in ensuring students receive quality healthcare services and guidance.

Job Description:
The Medical Officer will provide primary healthcare services to school students and manage clinic operations within the Hans Wellness Centre. The role includes supervising the healthcare team, monitoring student health trends, maintaining medical records, and coordinating referrals when necessary. This MBBS job in Delhi is ideal for professionals passionate about public health and community healthcare programs.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: MBBS
- Must be registered with the National Medical Council or State Medical Council.
- 2–3 years of experience in public health programs.
- Experience in pediatric healthcare will be preferred.
- Prior experience in community-based or social development sector projects is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary healthcare services to school students.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the health center.
- Coordinate with the ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) and examine referred cases.
- Refer critical cases to higher healthcare centers for advanced treatment.
- Conduct health awareness programs in schools and the surrounding community.
- Monitor and prepare reports on communicable and non-communicable diseases trends.
- Inspect the availability and functionality of medical equipment.
- Ensure implementation of clinical protocols and quality systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health records.
- Attend periodic review meetings organized by The Hans Foundation team.
- Maintain digital health records using the project app.
- Conduct home visits to students’ houses when instructed by the Project Manager.
- Prepare monthly reports, progress documentation, and case studies.
- Ensure smooth clinic operations with support from MTW fellow and administrative staff.
- Cross-verify invoices related to prescriptions and coordinate with medical or pharmacy representatives.
