Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- DM / DrNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institute
- Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience are eligible to apply
Experience
- 0–2 years of post DM/DrNB experience
- Exposure to diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures is preferred
Key Responsibilities
The Consultant Gastroenterologist will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including:
- Upper GI Endoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Assisting and gradually developing exposure in advanced procedures such as ERCP/EUS (if applicable)
- Managing OPD, IPD, and emergency GI cases
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Participating in academic discussions, CMEs, and case presentations
- Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records
