- Duty Hours: As per scheduled rotational requirements
- Take over responsibilities from outgoing Resident Medical Officers during shift changes.
- Review patient conditions, new admissions, and overnight clinical events.
- Conduct patient assessments, clinical examinations, and case workups.
- Prepare patients and documentation for surgical procedures.
- Coordinate investigations as instructed by consultants.
- Explain informed consent procedures to patients and attendants.
- Inform consultants regarding unusual reports, emergencies, or patient status changes.
- Coordinate patient transfers to and from the Operation Theatre.
- Monitor post-operative patients and document recovery status.
- Prepare discharge summaries and maintain accurate medical records.
- Participate in consultant rounds and coordinate with nursing teams.
- Manage emergency cases and urgent patient admissions.
- Complete shift-wise documentation and patient handovers.
- Participate in quality assurance, quality control, and NABH training activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information.
- Follow hospital duty rosters and leave protocols as assigned.
