Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all medical aspects of contracted pharmacovigilance activities across the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.
- Review and assess serious adverse events, adverse events of special interest, and individual case safety reports (ICSRs).
- Provide medical consultation to project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation and review of safety reports, including PSURs, PBRERs, DSURs, REMS, RMPs, and CTD modules.
- Identify and investigate safety signals while contributing to benefit-risk assessments of assigned products in this Remote Pharmacovigilance Job in Hyderabad.
- Conduct medical review of safety data from clinical trials, spontaneous reports, literature, and other data sources at Thermo Fisher Careers.
- Assist in therapeutic and protocol training activities for assigned studies.
- Ensure compliance with ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements, client directives, and company SOPs.
Educational Requirements for this Remote Pharmacovigilance Job:
- MD or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- MBBS degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Active medical licensure preferred.
- Additional experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, or as a Principal Investigator is desirable.
Skills Required:
- Strong clinical expertise and patient safety focus.
- Excellent knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and drug development processes.
- Understanding of FDA, ICH, EMA, and GCP guidelines.
- Knowledge of MedDRA terminology, safety databases, and clinical operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.
- Team-building, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and safety reporting tools.
