About the Organization:

The Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS) has been established with the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Home Affairs have jointly decided that CAPFIMS will function as an integral part of AIIMS New Delhi.

The institution will operate as the AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus located at Maidangarhi, New Delhi, and will be governed by the Acts, Rules, and Regulations applicable to AIIMS New Delhi. AIIMS New Delhi will oversee academic activities, examinations, and operational management of the campus.

This recruitment is being conducted for faculty positions approved by the Government of India for the AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus. Selected faculty members will be posted exclusively at the Maidangarhi Campus and will work specifically for AIIMS-CAPFIMS.

Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • DM in Gastroenterology (2-year, 3-year, 5-year, or 6-year recognized course after MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining DM in Gastroenterology (for candidates with 2-year or 5-year DM courses).
  • No experience required for candidates possessing 3-year or 6-year recognized DM degrees.

Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • DM in Medical Oncology (2-year, 3-year, 5-year, or 6-year recognized course after MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining DM in Medical Oncology (for candidates with 2-year or 5-year DM courses).
  • No experience required for candidates possessing 3-year or 6-year recognized DM degrees.

Assistant Professor of Nephrology

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • DM in Nephrology (2-year, 3-year, 5-year, or 6-year recognized course after MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining DM in Nephrology (for candidates with 2-year or 5-year DM courses).

Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • M.Ch. in Neurosurgery (2-year, 3-year, 5-year, or 6-year recognized course) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining M.Ch. Neurosurgery (for candidates with 2-year or 5-year M.Ch. courses).
  • No experience required for candidates possessing 3-year or 6-year recognized M.Ch. degrees.

Assistant Professor of Nuclear Medicine

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • MD in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree.

Assistant Professor of Orthopedics

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • MS in Orthopedics or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree.

Assistant Professor of Urology

  • Medical qualification included in Schedule I, II, or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • M.Ch. in Urology (2-year, 3-year, 5-year, or 6-year recognized course after MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining M.Ch. Urology (for candidates with 2-year or 5-year M.Ch. courses).
  • No experience required for candidates possessing 3-year or 6-year recognized M.Ch. degrees.
