Job Description:
ACKO is hiring healthcare professionals for its Medical Underwriting team to manage the complete pre-policy underwriting journey. This Telemedicine job for doctors involves conducting Tele-Medical Evaluations (Tele-MER), collecting accurate medical information, coordinating medical requirements, and supporting underwriting decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Tele-Medical Evaluation (Tele-MER) calls and accurately document medical disclosures.
- Manage assigned cases from allocation through underwriting decisions and reproposal closure.
- Explain additional medical information requirements, PPMC processes, and underwriting outcomes to customers.
- Coordinate Preventive Pre-Policy Medical Check-ups (PPMC) and laboratory scheduling.
- Perform timely follow-ups for Tele-MER, additional information requests, PPMC, and customer callbacks.
- Maintain real-time updates in underwriting systems and productivity trackers.
- Collaborate with CMU, Operations, Pre-Sales, and underwriting teams.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, audit requirements, and internal processes.
Educational Requirements for this Telemedicine job:
Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications from a recognised institution:
- BAMS
- BHMS
- BDS
Additional Requirements
- Valid Medical Council registration.
- Experience in clinical practice, telemedicine, or health insurance is preferred.
