Job Description:
The medical consultant job at NHSRC involves working closely with the Family Planning Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality technical assistance to state governments and will directly report to the Additional Commissioner of Family Planning. Key responsibilities include monitoring the Family Planning program, providing high-quality analyzed data, and developing strong relationships with various stakeholders in the health sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality technical assistance to state governments for Family Planning activities.
- Support technical updates and new technology implementation.
- Monitor expenditure patterns and suggest corrective actions.

- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in public health, including 2-3 years in Reproductive and Child Health.
- Familiarity with the Indian Health System and relevant government policies.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.
