Job Description:
NHSRC, New Delhi, on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), is inviting applications for the contractual position of Consultant – Tribal Health Cell. The selected candidate will support the review and reporting of tribal health matters, coordinate with programme divisions of the Ministry, document state- and district-level innovations and contribute to policy and programme development. This Medical Consultant Job is New Delhi-based with travel to different states and districts. The remuneration ranges from ₹60,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month, with the final fee determined according to qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected Consultant will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and reporting matters related to tribal health in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with various programme divisions of the Ministry.
- Obtaining feedback and inputs from relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing analytical reports on programmes concerning tribal health.
- Documenting state- and district-level innovations.
- Undertaking analytical documentation to inform changes in policy, programme planning and implementation.
- Contributing to technical and policy briefs, reports and case studies.
- Developing monitoring checklists and protocols.
- Supporting operational research and impact assessments.
- Contributing to the improvement of interventions under tribal health programmes.
