Job Description:

Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring a Medical Science Liaison – Haematology & Oncology for a field-based position in Kolkata, India. The role is full-time and focuses on strengthening scientific engagement with Thought Leaders (TLs), Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and other relevant stakeholders.

The MSL will spend more than 70% of their time in the field, developing scientific relationships and providing balanced, accurate medical information. The role also involves generating actionable medical insights, supporting clinical trial activities, contributing to the country medical plan and promoting the safe and appropriate use of BMS medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactions with Thought Leaders, appropriate HCPs, and access stakeholders to address scientific inquiries.
  • Execute a medical interaction plan based on stakeholder needs and medical strategies.
  • Present information to HCPs while ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local guidelines.
  • Continuously assess the medical landscape and update knowledge on treatment strategies and clinical trials.
  • Provide meaningful medical insights to support strategy development within the medical organisation.
  • Report safety information, including adverse events, in accordance with BMS Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Deliver scientific meetings in relevant therapy areas.

Eligibility Criteria for this Corporate Medical Job:

  • Candidates applying for this corporate medical job must possess one of the following qualifications:

    • MBBS
    • MD
    • BDS
    • MDS
    • PharmD

  • Candidates with 1–2 years of field medical experience in medical affairs are preferred.
