Job Description:

Srikara Hospitals is looking for a qualified and experienced General Surgeon to join its medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
  • Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
  • Attend OP, IP and emergency surgical cases.
  • Perform regular patient rounds and monitor recovery.
  • Coordinate with Anaesthesia, ICU, Nursing, Radiology and other clinical departments.
  • Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes and discharge documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to OT protocols, infection-control standards and patient-safety guidelines.
  • Provide appropriate counselling to patients and attendants regarding surgical procedures and follow-up care.
  • Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings and quality-improvement activities.

Eligibility Criteria for Surgeon Job:

Qualification:

  • MBBS with MS/DNB – General Surgery
  • Valid Medical Council registration

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of relevant surgical experience preferred
  • Candidates with strong operative and patient-management skills will be preferred
