Medical Science Liaison Role Description
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (Janssen India) is recruiting a Medical Science Liaison – Immunology; this medical science liaison role sits in its Medical Affairs team.
Role: scientific face of the company to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Immunology.
Field-based, 70-80% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, map and profile KOLs in the assigned geography.
- Engage KOLs through medical affairs initiatives aligned with the franchise plan.
- Represent the therapy area on cross-functional teams.
- Gather customer insights.
- Process scientific information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Act as a scientific training resource for the sales team.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: Medical graduate – MD / MBBS / BDS / MDS / Pharm.D.
Experience: 0-3 years in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of medical affairs.
- Good understanding of local regulatory policy and industry code of practice on drug registration, promotion and clinical research.
