The McKinsey healthcare analyst role involves client engagements combining clinical knowledge, analytics and structured problem-solving; redesigning care workflows and care journeys; translating medical policies and clinical guidelines into analytical frameworks; identifying gaps in care, clinical risks and at-risk populations; designing care pathways for chronic conditions such as diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD); supporting workshops, client events and frontline transformations; and contributing to HALO knowledge and IP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on client engagements combining clinical knowledge, analytics and structured problem-solving.
  • Redesign care workflows and care journeys.
  • Translate medical policies and clinical guidelines into analytical frameworks.
  • Identify gaps in care, clinical risks and at-risk populations.
  • Design care pathways for chronic conditions such as diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
  • Support workshops, client events and frontline transformations.
  • Contribute to HALO knowledge and IP.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Medical degree such as MBBS or related qualification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare transformation, healthcare operations, payer or provider organisations, clinical operations, healthcare strategy or management consulting.

Required Skills

  • Understanding of healthcare delivery models and clinical workflows.
  • Familiarity with SQL and querying relational or cloud databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills.
