About the Role:
In close collaboration with the Global Program Safety Lead (GPSL), the Medical Safety Lead – Career Opportunity for MBBS and MD Graduates provides robust safety evaluation expertise and medical innovation to ensure optimal patient safety for assigned compounds. Responsibilities also include integrating, analyzing, and evaluating internal and external safety information throughout the product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors Clinical Safety: Review projects/products, conduct medical assessment, and respond to safety-related inquiries.
- Identifies Safety Signals: Review and evaluate safety signals based on single cases.
- Collaborates: Work with various departments to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or MD) required, specialization preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in drug development, with at least 6 years in patient safety.
- Experience in clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and safety assessment.
Key Performance Indicators
- Timeliness and quality of safety analyses, interpretations, and presentations.
- Compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures.
- Consistency and quality of safety deliverables.
