We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Radiographer to join our dynamic team at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a vital role in diagnostic imaging, patient care, and accurate interpretation of medical images. You will be responsible for conducting radiologic examinations, ensuring radiation safety, and working closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide high-quality diagnostic outcomes. Medical Science Jobs- Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations including X-rays and other radiologic procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety protocols and institutional standards.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation.
- Work collaboratively with medical and nursing teams to provide complete and effective diagnostic support.
- Maintain accurate patient imaging records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
- Assist in equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance checks.

Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Prior experience in hospital or clinical radiology departments preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in radiologic imaging equipment and digital radiography systems.
- Knowledge Areas: Radiation safety standards, patient care protocols, and diagnostic procedures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
- Certifications: Valid radiography license or registration as per state medical council norms.
