Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based at Fortis Healthcare in Amritsar. The Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other radiologic procedures in accordance with clinical protocols. Responsibilities include preparing imaging reports, communicating findings to referring physicians, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The role also involves ensuring adherence to safety standards, maintaining equipment quality, guiding technologists on imaging protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement of radiology services. The Radiologist is expected to demonstrate strong clinical judgment, uphold patient-centric care, and support training or mentorship for junior team members where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret various diagnostic imaging studies.
- Prepare imaging reports and communicate findings to referring physicians.

Eligibility Criteria for the Radiologist Job:
- MD/DNB Radiology from a recognized institution with 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Punjab Medical Council Registration.
- Proficiency in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfort with using hospital information systems and digital radiology workflows.
- Ability to work on-site in Amritsar with a patient-centric approach.
- Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital or high-volume radiology department is preferred but not mandatory.
