Optometrist Jobs in Gurgaon—Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
- Eye Examinations: Conduct professional eye tests using specialized instruments to detect vision problems or ocular abnormalities.
- Diagnosis: Identify refractive errors (myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism) and screen for eye disorders such as glaucoma.
- Prescriptions: Recommend and prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision-correction solutions.
- Treatment: Provide vision therapy, low-vision rehabilitation, and minor optometric procedures where required.
- Referrals: Coordinate with ophthalmologists or other specialists for advanced interventions.
- Patient Counseling: Guide patients on ocular hygiene, lens care, prevention practices, and overall eye health.
- Pre/Post-Operative Care: Assist patients undergoing eye surgeries with evaluation, instructions, and follow-up care.
- Documentation & Research: Update patient records, maintain accuracy, and participate in optometry-related research or learning activities.
