Healthcare Management Job – Basic Qualifications:

Job Description
The Senior Director, Head of Clinical Process Management, is responsible for overseeing the clinical process landscape across Global Clinical Operations (GCO). This strategic healthcare management job ensures streamlined, efficient, and compliant clinical workflows aligned with GCO’s ambitions. The role includes guiding processes managed directly and partnering with other GCO functional lines—making it one of the most impactful GSK careers for clinical leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a strategic vision for clinical process management for GCO and lead the definition of organization-wide goals for clinical process optimization, effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
- Process Sponsorship: Lead the optimization of our clinical trial processes addressing regulatory requirements, audit/inspection/quality findings as well as new technologies and innovative practices to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
- Process Governance & Direction: Drive process governance & oversight across GCO ensuring process consistency, compliance, effectiveness and end-user friendliness.
- Excellence in Continuous and Transformative Process Improvement: Guide teams on leveraging data and insights and applying disciplined yet agile process improvement and change management methodologies to deliver initiatives that reliably deliver desired business impact.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Inspire and lead a GCO-wide cross-functional network of Global Process Owners to deliver and maintain an industry-leading network of clinical processes; drive collaboration across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders ensuring alignment on clinical process goals and priorities.
- People Leadership & Development: Inspire, lead, and develop a global team of direct reports (incl Global Process Owners and Process Managers) to deliver on objectives, excel in their roles and foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership within GCO Excellence: As a member of the GCO Excellence Leadership Team, co-drive and co-develop the operational excellence agenda for GCO for successful delivery of clinical studies and the R&D pipeline.
