Eligibility Criteria
Applications are invited from Indian nationals. Essential qualifications:
- A medical degree, MBBS, recognised by NMC or an Institute of National Importance.
- Internship completed within five years of the date of interview.
- Valid registration with NMC or a State Medical Council.
No other experience requirement is stated (Freshers eligible). Candidates who are declared passed in the qualifying degree and complete their course tenure on or before the interview date are considered, and eligibility is assessed as on the date of interview.
Upper Age Limit: 33 years as on the date of interview, relaxable as follows:
- Up to 3 years for OBC (Central List)
- Up to 5 years for SC/ST
- Up to 10/13/15 years for PwBD candidates of General/OBC/SC-ST categories respectively
Salary
Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 (Level-10, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances, including NPA as admissible.

Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM on the interview date will not be considered.
Reservation
SC/ST/OBC/EWS and PwBD reservation is as per Central Government rules, with category certificates in the prescribed annexure formats. OBC non-creamy-layer and EWS certificates must be valid for financial year 2026-27.
Selection Process
Selection will be through written test, interview or both as decided by the Institute. If more than 20 candidates appear for a post, a written exam will be held and the top 15 merit candidates per post shortlisted for interview, with final selection on interview performance alone.

Application Fee: Demand Draft in favour of “Executive Director, AIIMS, Bhopal”, brought at interview: Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC/EWS. SC/ST, women and PwBD candidates are exempted.

- Candidates in government service must produce an NOC from their employer.
- Appointees may work in shifts and be posted anywhere in the Institute.
- Private practice is prohibited.
