Job Description:
The selected candidate will work under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PIs. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation of low-dose CT screening protocols, coordinating workflow, monitoring data collection, documenting referral processes, and contributing to staff training and report preparation. This role demands a proactive approach to managing complex workflows and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of LDCT screening protocol, including participant eligibility verification and workflow coordination. This involves ensuring that all protocols are adhered to and that the screening process is executed efficiently.
- Assist in the coordination between participating centres for standardised implementation. Effective communication and coordination are crucial to maintain consistency across different locations.
- Monitor screening data collection, completeness, and quality. The candidate must ensure that data is accurately collected and maintained for analysis.
- Document referral processes, diagnostic timelines, and treatment initiation pathways. This documentation is vital for evaluating the effectiveness of the screening program.
- Assist in preliminary analysis of screening outcomes and care pathway indicators. Analytical skills are essential to interpret data and provide insights into the screening program’s success.
- Contribute to staff training and calibration activities. Training ensures that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
