Job Overview:
The Consultant Pediatrics Allergy Immunology will be responsible for providing expert care and consultation services to pediatric patients with allergies and immunology disorders. This position will be responsible for managing the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care of patients, as well as educating patients and their families about their conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with allergies and immunology disorders, including food and environmental allergies, asthma, eczema, and immunodeficiency disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Perform allergy testing and immunotherapy treatments.
- Prescribe and monitor medication regimens for patients, including immunosuppressants and biologics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to publications and presentations.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and advancements in allergy and immunology.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics Allergy Immunology.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Consultant Pediatrics Allergy Immunology.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Must be Western-trained.
