Qualifications

  • Active senior scientist with a strong record of research excellence

  • Age between 45 and 65 years at the time of submission
  • Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) working in India
  • Sufficient residual service in India (project duration + 1 year)
  • Applicants who have completed three terms under the J. C. Bose Fellowship or Research Grant are not eligible

Job Description

The ANRF J. C. Bose Research Grant recognizes active senior scientists for their outstanding contributions. Nominations are invited for senior scientists aged 45–65 years, currently working in Indian institutions or universities. Research Grant Nomination Process

  • Nominations must be submitted by Heads of Institutions/Universities or Presidents of National Science Academies.
  • Nominee must register on www.anrfonline.in
  • Nominee completes the application and sends it to the nominator.
  • Nominator submits the final nomination through the ANRF portal
  • Confirmation is sent to both the nominee and the nominator upon successful submission
