The Medical Director will lead the safety strategy for assigned programs, translating sophisticated data into crucial actions that shape labeling, risk minimization, and regulatory outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the clinical safety strategy for assigned products across late-stage development and post-marketing.
- Review and endorse core Patient Risk Management Plans and provide medical expertise.
- Provide strategic clinical safety input to development planning.
- Lead surveillance activities including medical review of individual cases and signal detection.
- Provide medical input to labeling updates and responses to regulatory requests.
- Lead Patient Safety contributions to global submissions.
- Represent Patient Safety on clinical and project teams.
- Maintain inspection readiness and lead process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria for the AstraZeneca Medical Director Job:
