Bayer Careers- Role:
The Medical Science Liaison (Diabetes Care) plays a key role in scientific engagement and knowledge dissemination across the medical community. The MSL will interact with Thought Leaders (TLs), medical societies, advisory boards, and clinical partners, ensuring evidence-based communication aligned with Bayer’s Medical Affairs strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging proactively and reactively with TLs to share scientific, educational, and research-based information.
- Providing clarification of scientific data, study protocols, and literature, including on-label and unsolicited off-label discussions as per regulations.
- Supporting medical societies and participating in advisory boards.
- Representing Bayer at congresses and conventions, establishing new scientific networks and gathering competitive insights.
- Planning and executing scientific training and educational sessions within the therapeutic area.
- Identifying, profiling, and segmenting TLs to support medical strategy and engagement planning.
- Preparing timely reports and tracking activities against agreed objectives.
- Offering additional scientific support and training beyond primary responsibilities when required.
Qualifications
- Medical background: MD / MBBS / BDS / MDS
- Basic understanding of therapy areas such as Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Oncology
- Foundational knowledge of clinical trials, design principles, and scientific rationale
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
