Job Description:
As Medical Officer, you’ll provide prompt medical care, manage the Occupational Health Centre (OHC), and conduct health check-ups as per The Factories Act, 1948. Your responsibilities include overseeing medical examinations, maintaining records, coordinating with hospitals, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Technical Criteria:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Diploma in Industrial Health or equivalent or AFIH (Associate Fellowship in Industrial Health) certification (mandatory as per The Factories Act,1948)
- Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in occupational health in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven experience in managing Occupational Health Centres while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene, toxicology, and emergency medical response
