Job Description:
The Cardiologist – Core Labs position at Medpace involves collaborating with Core Lab management on technical aspects of cardiac study assessments. The role includes conducting blinded independent central reviews of EKG and cardiac imaging as per clinical trial protocols, and participating in variability assessments. This position is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical research in cardiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Core Lab management on technical aspects of cardiac study assessments.
- Conduct blinded independent central reviews of EKG and cardiac imaging.
- Participate in IntraReader and InterReader variability assessments.
- Contribute to the development, review, and evaluation of SOPs and study-specific procedures.
Eligibility Criteria for the Cardiologist Job:
- Must hold an M.D. or equivalent training.
- Experience with EKG and various cardiac imaging modalities.
- Expertise in interpreting EKG, Holter-EKG, and cardiac imaging.
- Familiarity with EKG and cardiac image analysis software.
- Board eligibility in Cardiology or equivalent training demonstrating competency.
