Job Description:
The Clinical Development Scientist will contribute to all relevant aspects of global clinical trial activities, ensuring the delivery of study outcomes within schedule, budget, and compliance standards. This role includes high-quality clinical data review, collaboration with various functions, and the development of data review strategies. The Clinical Development Scientist will also support pharmacovigilance activities and contribute to the development of regulatory documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality clinical data review and identify insights through patient-level review and trends analysis.
- Contribute to the development of the Data Review/Quality Plan (DRP/DQP) and data review strategy.
- Support the implementation of data capture tools and contribute to Case Report Form (CRF) development.
- Facilitate data review process improvements and identify innovative data analysis processes.
- Assist in the development of study-level documents and clinical trial documents for regulatory activities.
- Support pharmacovigilance activities as required.
- Produce training materials and provide training to the integrated Clinical Trial Team (iCTT).
- Develop subject matter expertise in disease area knowledge and clinical data review tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Advanced degree in life sciences/healthcare (Master’s, PharmD, PhD, MBBS, BDS, MD preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in planning, executing, reporting, and publishing clinical studies.
- Intermediate knowledge of clinical study processes in a pharmaceutical company or academic research institution.
- Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and drug development processes.
- Strong scientific knowledge in at least one therapeutic area.
- Knowledge of clinical data collection and reporting principles.
- Analytical background with the ability to detect data trends.
- Ability to collaborate across boundaries for shared success.
