Job Description:
The Clinical Research Medical Advisor will provide country-level clinical and medical leadership for Novartis clinical development programs. This role involves driving protocol feasibility, investigator engagement, recruitment strategy, and ensuring high-quality trial execution. The advisor will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to expedite the delivery of innovative medicines while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Clinical Trial Feasibility by validating study designs and making final decisions on protocol feasibility.
- Drive Trial Start-up Success through active scientific and medical contributions during study start-up.
- Provide Clinical and Medical Expertise to clinical operations teams and trial sites.
- Lead Scientific Stakeholder Engagement with investigators and regulatory authorities.
- Develop Clinical Trial Strategies to address recruitment and data quality challenges.
- Build Disease Area Knowledge and deliver training to improve trial awareness.
- Optimize Patient Recruitment by leveraging physician insights and competitive intelligence.
- Partner Cross-Functionally with various teams to support study execution.
Eligibility Criteria for this Clinical Research Job:
- MBBS/M.D., PhD, or Pharm.D. required, with an M.D. highly preferred.
- 1-3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical clinical development or clinical practice.
- Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical research regulations.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage scientific complexities.
