Job Description:

The TL-Medical Safety position focuses on medical review and evaluation of safety data within pharmacovigilance operations. The role involves reviewing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), assessing seriousness and causality, and evaluating clinical relevance. You will work with clinical trial data, product labeling, and risk-benefit information to ensure accurate safety assessments.

This Non-Clinical Job requires collaboration with pharmacovigilance and cross-functional safety teams to maintain regulatory compliance and patient safety standards. The position also includes using the safety database, refining medical narratives, verifying coding, and participating in signal detection activities aligned with global pharmacovigilance regulations and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical safety reviews of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
  • Assess case seriousness, causality, and clinical relevance.
  • Conduct end-to-end safety case processing and medical evaluation.
  • Review clinical trial data, product labels, and risk-benefit information.
  • Refine case narratives and verify medical coding accuracy.
  • Support signal detection and identification of emerging safety trends.
  • Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and SOPs.
  • Maintain complete documentation for audit readiness and regulatory inspections.

Eligibility Criteria for the Corporate Pharmacovigilance Job:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medicine, or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Relevant experience or training in Pharmacovigilance and Medical Safety.
  • Understanding of clinical concepts and therapeutic areas.

Preferred Certification:

  • Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GVP)
  • Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance Certification
  • Equivalent industry-recognized certification
