Pay:
As a Heartland Dental supported locum tenens dentist, we offer excellent compensation and will take care of travel and lodging expenses.
Responsibilities of DDS/DMD Temporary Dentist Job:
- Examining patients to determine oral health needs, utilizing x-rays and other diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Educating patients on the benefits of proper oral and dental hygiene
- Assist with leading and supervising office team members
Qualifications:
- DDS/DMD degree, active and unrestricted license
- Clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients’ needs
- Ability to become credentialed with dental insurance plans
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
