Work Experience

Role:
The position represents the organization’s scientific voice to external medical experts. As a Therapy Area Scientific Expert, the individual will lead thought-leader engagement, scientific exchange, and medical strategy execution across assigned geographies and therapeutic specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Thought Leader Engagement & Scientific Communication
- Serve as the primary scientific liaison for physicians, specialists, pharmacists, hospitals, and scientific societies.
- Identify, profile, and engage thought leaders in alignment with therapeutic strategies.
- Provide high-quality scientific discussions (proactive and reactive) on disease trends, product data, and emerging evidence.
- Represent Dr. Reddy’s in internal and external scientific platforms, conferences, and medical forums.
Medical Strategy & Execution
- Execute the therapeutic area’s Medical Affairs Strategic Plan, including medical education, evidence generation, product education, advisory boards, and special projects.
- Analyze disease trends and contribute to the annual Medical Affairs strategy.
- Support pre-license scientific activities and new product preparation.
Internal Collaboration & Compliance
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-based solutions for optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to scientific information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Ensure all activities comply with Dr. Reddy’s COBE (Code of Business Ethics) and promotional material approval processes.
- Train sales and marketing teams on therapeutic updates and scientific advancements.
