Job Description:
The Drug Safety Physician at Biocon Biologics will be responsible for the continuous evaluation of the safety profile of company products through adverse event monitoring. This role includes supporting clinical trial pharmacovigilance safety activities, overseeing aggregate report reviews, and managing safety signals and risks. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, communicate effectively, and oversee CRO activities while leading both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Drug Safety Physician serves as a subject matter expert for product-specific safety information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of product safety profiles.
- Involved in safety surveillance activities, including monitoring adverse events.
- Collaborates with medical monitors and other functional groups to identify safety trends.
- Evaluates safety data from various sources to establish product safety profiles.
- Provides medical input for signal evaluation and safety analysis.
- Reviews Risk Management Plans (RMP) and drives risk minimization activities.
- Participates in pharmacovigilance audit preparations and CAPA management.
- Trains and mentors team members on pharmacovigilance practices.
Eligibility Criteria for this Drug Safety Physician Job:
- MD with 10+ years of pharmacovigilance experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
