Job Description:
To provide quality and safe clinical care to patients that present to the emergency center through assessing, diagnosing, treating, and disposition according to best practice standards.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Provide quality safe clinical care in the emergency center
- Assist with teaching and coordinating clinical development programs
- Adhere to and support the nursing staff in the application of triage
- Participate in company strategies e.g. PatientsFirst@Mediclinic
- Contribute to quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Maintain a minimum standard of emergency medical care knowledge and expertise
Required Education:
Essential Education: MB BCh/MB ChB
Desired Education: Dip PEC, MPhil
Required Experience:
Essential Minimum Experience: Completion of internship and community service years
Desired Experience: Previous work experience post community service year in emergency center
