The hospital has expanded to include a new block at the same premises and another hospital at Girinagar, with an additional 100 beds, soon to be operational by the end of 2021.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Physician. The Emergency Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing urgent and emergency medical care to patients seeking immediate medical attention in the emergency department. Their day-to-day tasks include evaluating patients, making diagnoses, and developing and implementing treatment plans. They may also be responsible for managing and stabilizing critically ill patients before transferring them to sub-specialized units or coordinating their transfer to other facilities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Medicine, Emergency Services, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
- Ability to perform well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and extended hours as per the hospital’s requirements
- Direct experience in Critical Care Medicine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- Current medical license and credentials as a physician in India
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
- Experience in research, publications, or quality improvement initiatives is desirable
- Masters in Emergency Medicine or Public Health is a plus
